Pietro Comite alias PieroDread is a singer and musician of the Italian and European reggae scene.

Born in Turin in February 1980 he moved to Milan at a young age, where he grew artistically and began playing live in the most prestigious clubs in the city offering a tribute to the most significant songs of Bob Marley, studying and spreading Rastafarian culture and philosophy , and soon began to play on international stages, playing at first as one man band and then with Franziska, a band that has led him to publish three albums between 2003 and 2008 and to climb on prestigious stages of the major reggae festivals throughout Europe.

With Franziska he also won the Rototom Sunsplash 2007 Contest. He has worked with great artists of the Italian and international scene as Laurel Aitken, Freddie McGregorAfrica Unite, Roy Paci, Nina Zilli, Luciano, Morgan Heritage and Anthony B, with whom the recently released "So Precious" single on the North African revolution, a real tribute to the martyrs of the so-called "Arab Spring".

He comes from the same "stable" of talent Alborosie & Nina Zilli and his style is attributable to singers like Gentleman and Ziggi Recado.

Besides his artistic musical works starting from in 2001, since 1998 he has been teaching guitar, harmony and ensemble music as a graduate of CPM (Center Professional Music) and is currently a teacher in various locations in the Ricordi Music School in Milan.

In 2006 he founded together with Ruben Minuto and Nico Roccamo the Vibes Point Studio Productions, a structure that includes rehearsal rooms and recording studio in which he is the engineer/producer, arranging and producing reality of the Italian underground reggae and hip hop scene as Rootical Foundation and Rhoyal Sound.

He is also musician and producer working with Bizzarri Records, the Senegalese singer Sun Sooley and Jamaican Raymond Wright as live arranger.

In multiple rules as a singer/musician/producer has added its own production to record labels such as Warner-Universal-Sony-V2 and he is the author of television themes.

"I love Black music in all its forms, from soul to blues to R & B and of course reggae in particular, I was taught to unite and respect other cultures because they have real stories to tell that everyone should know", he said in a recent interview.

PieroDread is involved in both the first two Jamstone Digital riddim projects as author and recording artist, on the FOOTSTEP RIDDIM with Franziska and on the INNA MI YARD RIDDIM with a great combination with Askala Selassie, also included in his album "Real Vibes" (2013).
